Steady NW Surf for Northern California

Looking at the Half Moon Bay buoy model through the next week, the existing West-Northwest swell continues to decline today, but a fresh WNW swell builds Friday into Saturday, peaking Saturday morning at a solid 7.9 feet at 15.1 seconds (303°).

A short-period Northwest component also fills in on Saturday, along with a WNW reinforcement on Sunday, providing mixed-swell conditions through the weekend into Monday. This mixture of surf includes a small, long-period South swell that persists through Tuesday.

A third, moderate-period Northwest swell arrives on Tuesday (9.8 feet at 11.3 seconds 306°) and declines through Wednesday.
