Rising NW Swell for Hawaii

Look for surf to increase out of the NW direction this afternoon through Thursday. The Northwest Hawaii buoy (@buoy51101) has been reporting 17-second forerunners since early this morning.

This pulse is forecast to turn more Northerly and peak Friday before being reinforced by a NNW swell on Saturday, which peaks in the evening at 7.2 feet at 11.2 seconds (346°).
