What we saw in the wave model is starting to show on the Northwest Kauai Buoy (Buoy 51001), which just hit 10 feet at 17 seconds from the Northwest. Swell should build throughout the evening/night, and hopefully clean up the backwash at Pipe by morning. First legitimate swell of the 2009-2010 Winter season in Hawaii.
