N. California – Better Winds and Fresh NW on Friday

The current Northwest swell continues to decline through tomorrow, but there’s another WNW swell in the forecast for Friday. The Half Moon Bay buoy model shows surf rising quickly Thursday night, peaking early Friday morning around 11 feet at 14 seconds (286°).

Unlike the previous swell, it looks like the winds will actually cooperate this time, with lighter Southeast winds predicted through Friday morning.
