Hawaii – Country Isn’t Done Yet

The North Pacific isn’t done yet, with two Northwest pulses forecast to arrive during the next week. Sunday sees a fun-sized pulse from the NNW (329°) that the weekend warriors will appreciate. A slight Northeast wind swell (2 feet at 7.4 seconds) is also forecast to be in the water.

Looking further ahead to Thursday, a more sizable Northwest swell is forecast to peak mid-day at 4.6 feet at 12.8 seconds. This swell should provide overhead surf for North facing breaks, and has a more Westerly influence than Sunday’s bump. There’s also a short-period Northeast trade wind swell that builds Tuesday into the weekend.

Looks like Sunday will be an excellent day to bust out the longboard, while Thursday will provide more sizable action, but with stronger Northeast winds.
