N. California – Solid NW Energy With NW Winds

Solid WNW surf is currently hitting the Half Moon Bay buoy (@buoy46012), which is reporting swell heights of 6.9 feet at 14.8 seconds as of 3 p.m. The forecast is looking solid too, with continued long-period Northwest energy through the weekend, and a 17 foot, 15 second WNW (301°) peaking early Monday morning.

There’s a long-period South swell also arriving over the weekend (2.6 feet at 16.6 seconds 194°), and should provide combo swell conditions through Sunday. SSE winds decrease through the weekend, and turn more Southerly on Sunday. Then they turn NW just in time to blow out Monday’s large Northwest.
